Collecting Box Custom
Use the Collecting Box Custom modular system to develop your own individually configurable collection container – ideal for used clothing, electronic waste, lost property, books, toys, reusable packaging or shipping box returns.

Your customised container – Modular. Versatile. Sustainable.
With the Collecting Box Custom modular system, we offer you the most flexible container solution on the market – ideal for collecting old clothes, but also suitable as a collection container for electronic waste, toy donations, lost property (lost property box), books, pet supplies, old medicines, reusable packaging, reusable shipping boxes or other closed-loop packaging systems.
You determine the dimensions, roof shape, insertion, equipment and design – we build the container exactly to your requirements. This is modern recycling management in its most individual form.

Choosing the right container size is the first step towards finding the ideal solution for your collection needs. With our modular system, you can choose between different dimensions – starting with compact floor spaces of around half a square metre, through floor spaces of one square metre, as with the Collecting Box Vienna, to spacious variants such as the Collecting Box Classic XL with almost two square metres of space. The heights range from lower versions of 1220 mm for indoor use to 2199 mm high containers for maximum filling volume outdoors. This makes the containers in the Collecting Box Custom modular system suitable both as classic used clothing containers and as modern return containers for electronic waste, old medicines, books, work clothing or reusable shipping packaging. Our compact models are also particularly popular as lost property boxes or as collection points for toy donations in kindergartens and public institutions.
Step 2: Determine sheet thickness
0.80 mm

1.00 mm

1.25 mm

The stability and durability of your container depend largely on the choice of material. That is why we offer galvanised sheet thicknesses of 0.80 mm, 1.00 mm and 1.25 mm. Depending on the area of application – whether in a protected indoor area or as a container permanently placed outdoors – the material thickness allows precise adaptation to environmental conditions and safety requirements. A higher sheet thickness is particularly useful for containers for old textiles, electronic waste or recyclable materials in order to ensure safe and robust handling.
Step 3: Define roof shape
Monopitch roof

Trapezoidal roof

Round roof

The roof shape is not just a design element, it also has a significant impact on the functionality and durability of the container. We recommend our monopitch roof design*, as this ensures that rain, snow and ice are diverted to the rear of the box, keeping the drop-in area protected at all times. In addition, the roof shape creates a distinctive front surface* that can be used as advertising space to showcase your company or organisation. However, if you have specific design requirements, we can also supply other roof shapes to ensure seamless integration into your existing containers.

Step 4: Select insertion
Standard

Wave

Parcel flap

Rotor

Without flap

Standard with separator

Standard with cover

The insertion area is a crucial element in the design of your container. We offer different systems depending on the intended use: from the classic standard flap to variants with additional security elements such as separators, to particularly burglar-proof options such as the rotor system or the wave solution with a flexible curtain. The spacious parcel flap is particularly suitable for returning parcels, reusable packaging or electronic waste and as a lost property box.
Step 5: Determine door configuration
Front Standard

Front with recycling module

Standard rear

The door design influences emptying as well as subsequent user guidance at the location. Whether you want to open the container from the front or the rear, we offer both versions with optional integrated recycling modules. In addition to the main purpose of the container, these modules enable additional separate collection of e.g. light bulbs or electronic waste. The modular door solution is therefore ideal for multifunctional return systems in companies, schools or municipal facilities where different types of collected goods are to be dealt with at the same time.
Step 6: Determine locking system
Standard locking latch

Reinforced locking latch

Locking handle

Security starts with the lock. Depending on the application, various locking systems are available – from standard locking latches to reinforced locking latches and locking handles. A robust locking system is essential to ensure long-term functionality and protection against theft, especially for container solutions for sensitive collection areas such as medication returns, lost property or electronic waste, and for outdoor locations with high public traffic.
Step 7: Configure supplementary equipment
Mesh trolley

Rolling trolley

Adjustable feet

Recycling side bin

Padlock for locking latch

Cylinder lock for locking handle

The Collecting Box Custom modular system allows you to adapt your container to your individual location with a wide range of supplementary equipment. Whether integrated mesh trolleys or rolling trolleys for easier emptying or adjustable feet for alignment on uneven surfaces – we offer well thought-out solutions for maximum functionality. A particularly innovative addition is the side bin for recyclables, which allows other materials to be collected separately. This feature makes the container the ideal solution for companies that want to take back clothing, PPE or packaging separately – for example, as part of internal recycling management or ESG-compliant disposal systems.
Step 8: Select design & customisation
Powder coating

Labelling

Embossing

Your container is not only functional, but also a visible part of your public image. That is why we offer full-surface powder coating in all RAL colours as well as customised labelling with logos, advertising space and information. For permanent branding, initials (3-13 characters) or logos can also be embossed directly into the metal free of charge. Whether as a municipal used clothing container, a container for lost property at train stations or a donation box for books in educational institutions – the design can be individually tailored to the target group, location and function, thus increasing recognition and acceptance among end users.
Step 9: Actively shaping sustainability
Climate-neutral production (standard)

A container for our climate!

The Collecting Box Custom modular system is not only technically flexible, but also a clear statement for environmentally friendly action. Our entire container production is climate-neutral – thanks to green electricity, photovoltaics, energy-efficient manufacturing and CO₂ compensation. On request, you can receive your container with the ‘A container for our climate!’ label, including compensation for all material emissions. This makes collectingsystems containers particularly suitable for companies and municipalities that actively promote environmentally friendly practices, whether through return systems for shipping cartons, sustainable workwear or reusable packaging.
Step 10: Determine logistics
Ex Works

delivery

Installation

After you place your order, we will take care of the entire logistics process on request – reliably, transparently and internationally. We will coordinate the shipment on your behalf and keep you informed about the status of the delivery. Depending on the destination, transport is carried out by truck (up to 24 containers within Europe) or by 40-foot sea freight containers (up to 20 containers worldwide).
Unloading is carried out by the customer – alternatively, we can provide a suitable forklift truck if required. We also offer professional installation of the containers directly at the place of use. This means that your container from the Collecting Box Custom modular system arrives at your premises ready for use.
